Re: Eligible periods for PhD Awards
It has just become apparent that the eligible dates shown on the betterhealthcaretechnology.org website from 2021 to now were not updated from previous years. That has meant any candidates who received their PhD award between July 2020 to December 2020 were ineligible to apply for this Award.
Consequently, the Awards Panel have decided, as a special one-off case, to make the 2022 PhD Award conditions:
For postgraduate students who have received their PhD at an Australian or New Zealand university between 1st July 2020 to 30 June 2022.
Future PhD Awards will then return to the normal 18-month criteria as described on the website.
Our sincere apologies to everyone for the oversight.
Also, a gentle reminder to all members that the Awards deadline closing date is fast approaching on the 30 June. There still needs to be an improved response for all the other awards.
